My latest musings

Delamays blog is inspired by her Gemini ascendant which has a mind of its own, meaning inspiration can strike at anytime! It can happen at odd times and in odd places, such as in the shower, at 3am, on the dance floor, while flying or driving, after a long day of teaching or even from hearing a few words from a passing conversation.

These blogs are updated sometimes weekly or sometimes monthly, it depends when inspiration strikes so keep checking back for the latest ones!

From Denial, Survival, Acceptance to Flying

The Physical Act of Touch

The Physical Act of Touch

One quality that is generally overlooked during a yoga training is how tactile and sensitive your padas (feet) and hastas (hands) become. Our padas and hastas literally hold us up, help to hold on, they press down, rise up, grip, expand, express, release, absorb, radiate, push away, pull towards...

Become Fluent in the Language of Sensation

Become Fluent in the Language of Sensation

Yoga vs Dance

Yoga vs Dance

In my mind and life there is no difference. Both take shape and form in the body, both are breath initiated and breath driven and both are medicine for the mind, body and soul. Five mudras for Clarity, Courage and Confidence

Mudras are energetic seals, sparking a circulation of an intentional energy based on the gesture or placement of the hands and or body. In Prana Vinyasa yoga we see yoga poses as full body mudras along with hand positions as mudras. Similar to the entire body, each finger represents a different...
