9 – 16 April 2018
If your yogi SPIRIT is seeking adventure into MYSTIC lands where daily RITUAL, sacred CEREMONY and EMBODIMENT is part of everyday life, then join Delamay Devi and special guests for a truly MAGICAL and UNFORGETTABLE week in beautiful Bali!
Imagine living in a tropical oasis for one whole week with like minded yogis, surrounded by lush vegetation with the opportunity to meet yourself in a new way as you rediscover inner serenity and radiant vitality. The aroma of exotic incense drifts past from the loving prepared daily offerings, placed thoughtfully throughout the retreat grounds and each packed with fresh flowers, a slice of fruit and a sweet treat to keep the gods happy…
Imagine making your way through the expansive gardens, feeling the thick humidity envelope around you as gently wade into the salt water swimming pool for a refreshing dip after the mornings practice dedicated to Movement as a medicinal practice with exploration of deep embodiment, through the daily practices of Prana Vinyasa yoga, kriyas, moving meditations, introspective journaling and self-enquiry…
And imagine a place where your breath and movement unite in a blossoming love affair, tingling your senses as you dunk into the sublime flow of your authentic self. Gathering together daily in our open air shala complete with a lovingly prepared altar made with fresh frangipani flowers, marigolds and other native flora gathered from the markets earlier that day, We greet each other with a smile, acknowledging our own individual movement journey…
Ubud translates as “Medicine”, and for centuries people have been magnetically drawn to this healing vortex, travelling to Ubud from all over Bali, seeking out medicine from doctors, and blessings from priests.

Steeped in ritual and reverence, an experience in Bali touches the soul and revives the senses.
Let yourself reconnect with inspiration and sacredness, while discovering inner stillness and healing. This week is a deep cultural immersion into the Balinese way of life, through witnessing, participating and learning first hand from the locals, you will be given the special opportunity to live, breath and understand the magic of Mama Bali like never before.
Your dream of experiencing the REAL Bali really is within your reach!
The island of Bali is unique in so many ways, from the vast open green landscapes of rice fields to the barren active volcanoes, beautiful white and black sandy beaches, waterfalls, breathtaking sun rises and sun sets.
In the 8th century a Buddhist priest from Java made a pilgrimage to Ubud and after meditating where two rivers meet declared that place holy and a temple was built in that very spot which still exists today.
Be prepared to sparkle!
The humidity in Bali means there is no choice but to enjoy the heat penetrating and gently massaging your muscles during our daily yoga practices, leaving your skin sparkling with sweat and feeling extra soft from this daily detox.
Every day, you’ll witness beautiful aspects of Balinese culture including ceremonies flooding the streets with the sounds of music and chanting filling the air.
Upon arrival you will be greeted with a welcome and refreshing cool juice. From the moment you land, we take care of you which is why we have included two treatments in the eco spa to help relieve and dissolve any tension from your journey to be with us in beautiful Bali.
With rice terraces, ancient water temples, beaches and active volcanoes the island of the Gods must be explored at least once in your life time…
Your immersion will also include a welcoming / cleansing ceremony, a waterfall pilgrimage and a water blessings with Bali’s only female Priestess…
Our retreat centre serves 100% organic food with your taste buds as the top priority!
The choices are endless and include many options such as gluten free, dairy free, raw and vegan. Brunch and dinner is included in your package and outside of this you can order straight from the menu or there is an abundance of local cafes and restaurants walking distance away. We will provide you with a very comprehensive list of our all time favorite places to eat!
Bali’s fertile soil really does produce some of the most exquisite, drool worthy tropical fruits and vegetables you will ever taste. Our chef is highly trained in a diverse range of culinary delights and can easily cater for individual requests!
Each meal will consist of colourful fresh salads with edible flowers picked from the surrounding gardens, lovingly prepared vegetables with a selection of condiments, tempeh, tofu, rice, noodles, traditional Indonesian dishes and a western style dish if you are feeling the need for something more familiar.
There is always plenty to go round but make sure you leave room for desert, which will leave you wondering how the dairy free chocolate cheese cake that melts like velvet in your mouth can actually be healthy for you!
Regardless of your dietary requirements we are positive that at the end of each meal your belly completely satisfied!
Yoga, Movement & Meditation
Our practices are suitable for all levels. With the morning sadhana being more dynamic with the intention of energising and waking up the body and our evening sadhana being more restorative and meditative with lots of reflection and witnessing the relationship between the body, the mind and the breath.
We start and end each day gathering together in the yoga shala. Planting seed intentions, writing, reflecting, breathing and moving as one.
The style of yoga we will be practicing is Prana Vinyasa cultivated by Delamay’s long time teacher, mentor and friend Shiva Rea. It is a very fluid form of Vinyasa yoga with an emphasis on energetic alignment, embodiment and with the use of Kramas / different stages of asanas there is something for everyone. The pace is slow as progress towards a peak pose while maintaining mindfulness and humility.
Along with the daily yoga, movement and meditation practices Delamay will be offering a optional 36 hour Movement Medicine Teacher Training module. This is a experiential exploration into Movement as a Medicinal practice with the 2018 theme The Healing Power Of Movement.
It is a rich journey into self-enquiry with a variety of kriyas and movement pathways opening us to the emotions and the flow of energy in our systems connected to the Elements, the Vayus and the Chakras plus loving hands on enhancements and a choreographed sequence to make your own during the week.

Your Retreat Package Activities
A trip to Bali would not be complete without experiencing a variety of pilgrimages and ceremonies!
We have included our favourite activities in this retreat package and can recommended rice field walks, bike riding tours and other local sights to visit in your free time.
Feeling gentle pin pricks of pristine waters on your face has never felt so GOOD!
Gazing upwards to see the water pouring over the cliff edge, sparkling rays of sunlight break through the shadows as the droplets spray out and bounce off the rocks below. Waterfalls hold such majestic magic and worth every step of this pilgrimage.
About 10 minutes into our pilgrimage the view opens to rice terraces, rolling hills and in the distance Sekumpul waterfalls. They are considered the most beautiful in Bali, Sekumpul means “a group of” as there are 7 waterfalls on the north side of Bali and still off the major tourist trail.
This pilgrimage requires a moderate level of fitness, the track is about 300 meters one way and down hundreds of steep steps which eventually cross a river so make sure your bring your trusty walking shoes, water, a sarong and swimmers in case you want to completely submerge into the falls!
A water blessing with High priestess Ida Resi is an experience which transcends time and space!
As the sound of the bell rings out across the family compound an air of meditative quietude descends and the ceremony begins.
We take turns and stand in small groups in front of the alter where she is seated, close enough to hear her instructions and chanting as the water blessing begins. The overall encounter with High priestess Ida Resi is profound and connects you directly with Bali’s deep spiritual history and dedication to such sacred ceremony.
Being Bali we can never really know what to expect, in the past we have had the honour of receiving a guided meditation as a group and hearing her talk about her philosophy towards life.
She opens her arms and ceremonies to all, young, old, sick, healthy, the curious, the skeptic, regardless of race, age, religious belief or intention.
Being open to receiving…
A perfect opportunity to rest, restore and rejuvenate yourself in one of the worlds most loved island! With the calming surrounds, deeply nourishing food, daily yoga, therapeutic treatments and space to just BE we are confident that there will be transformation on some level by the time we say good bye!
